Mentoring and Adventures with a Purpose
We use Three Strategies to Impact the World.
- Mentor and Train
- Teach and Guide
- Respond and Serve
Our Mission
To provide highly trained and qualified individuals and teams to other nonprofits, to assist, train, lead and edify. Safety, experience-based learning, evangelism and long term disciple making are the hallmarks of our work.
How we do it
Mentor and Train
- We work one-on-one with those who desire to be built up, encouraged, and challenged to life a wholehearted and abundant life.
Teach and Guide
- We use the outdoors as a training and testing ground for the work of the heart our programs seek to explore. The outdoors insulates us from the grind of daily life and provides the space to focus on those areas of our life that are most important, who we are made to be and how to live that out.
Respond and Serve
- We respond to Natural Disasters and Emergency Situations with Experienced Professionals and helpful hands. We seek to serve and use the opportunity for those who engage with us to serve in unique ways
What we Value
- An Open heart
- A desire to explore the world and the heart
- A curiosity to understand Truth
- Patience in the Process
“Matt Adams is a friend, a professional, an encourager, a deep thinker and an amazing servant. This last summer, I asked Matt to take 3 college students serving our Church in our summer internship program out for a two day, one night Wilderness intensive.
The purpose of this trip was to build unity, teamwork, humility, dependence and a shared experience for these three interns.
I don’t know everything that happened on that trip but what I saw was the fruit of it. Better communication, a deeper desire for unity and humility, shared experiences that produced a greater sense of team and most importantly a deeper understanding of who God is and what He has done for us in Jesus.
I would recommend Matt Adams to work with any organization who is serious about developing a relationally healthy culture. Matt knows what he is doing with both the outdoors (repelling, rope climbing, outdoor adventures) and with people’s hearts..”
Achievments
- Started a self replicating Men's Ministry that has continued without direct involvement for 12 years.
- Transferable discipleship which has been observed to the fourth iteration of Mentors. (the men I have mentored, mentored others who in turn mentored others.)
- Creation of programs and reflection which point out the true heart conditions of Man.
